In the pan:
Heat clarified butter or vegetable oil in a non-stick pan, spoon the potato pancake batter into the pan and spread it out. Fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown.
Tip: Mix 1–2 eggs into the potato pancake batter.
Recipe tip: Stir the following ingredients into the potato pancake batter:
Holstein-style: 100 g diced ham
Almond pancakes: 3 tablespoons sliced almonds
Vegetable pancakes: 200 g vegetables (e.g., grated carrots and zucchini, leek strips, dried tomatoes). Fry the pancakes as described above.
